Hello!
My name is Enjonae Anderson and I’m a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor (LCMHCS), a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS) and a Certified Perinatal Mental Health Counselor. I founded Mended Hearts Counseling in 2011, shortly after giving birth to my second child.
I understand the many roles women carry — mom, partner, professional, caregiver, and more — and the unique pressures that come with each season of life. I’m honored to hold space for you as you navigate all the stages. My goal is to help you find rest, hope and healing while you discover your “new normal”.
Another group of people that are dear to my heart are ministry leaders. Ministry is a joy and a blessing. It can also be an isolating experience. Many in ministry experience church hurts and feel they have no one to turn to. As a pastors wife I understand the unique challenges that exist as a ministry leader. I offer individual therapy for ministry leaders and a support group for women in ministry.
As an advocate for women's mental health I also provide education, consultation and training to members of the community as well as medical and healthcare professionals. I think it is important that people in roles of support take good care of their own mental health. To facilitate this, I enjoy time with my family, cooking beautiful plates of food( especially those that have items from my garden), getting lost in the woods, and playing with all the critters on our small farm. I also lead Walk.Talk.Tea, a gentle outdoor wellness walk that brings together nature, reflection, and community as another way to support mental and emotional wellbeing.
Remember that today is a great day to go to therapy!
