October is Domestic Violence Awareness month. We will take part in educating and opening the lines of communication on this very important topic. A great deal of our conversation this month will be “What You Should Know About Domestic Violence”, I hope you will join the conversation. One way you can do this, is to join us at the YWCA this Saturday October 11, 2014 from 8am-2pm.
MHCRS will be participating in the YWCA of High Point, “Embracing New Phases of Life: Pathways to End Domestic Violence” Enjonae will be sharing information about the relation between domestic violence and trauma. Presentations will also include Lindsey Lahr of Family Services High Point, Court Advocate. There will be vendors, resources, information, and much more. A light lunch will be provided.
