New Year, New You, New Class!

Hiding from Love-John Townsend

When you experience emotional injury, fear, shame, or pride your first impulse is to hide the hurting parts of yourself from God, others, even yourself. Often you’ve learned these hiding patterns during childhood to protect yourself in a threatening environment. The problem is that when you hide your injuries and frailties, you isolate yourself from the very things you need in order to heal and mature. This class explores these hiding patterns.

Individuals will discover the difference between “good” and “bad” hiding, how to be free to make mistakes without fear of exposing failures and imperfections, and how to obtain the joy and wholeness God intends for all to have through healthy bonding with others. This class will be helpful if you, or a loved one are “Hiding from Love”. This class is free, the only cost involved is the cost of the book.

Please contact Enjonae Anderson at Enjonae@mhcrs.com with any questions and/or to reserve your book. Class begins January 9, 2013, and is held at Life on lexington Church Wednesdays at 6:30pm.
